Roles and Functions of an Educational Media Center

The Educational Media Center can really play a huge role in a institution or school that will love to implement constructivist type of learning. In this area you will expect a lot of films and upgraded form of teaching to your students. In there, upgrading is necessary. Constuctivist type of teaching is impossible without any shown technology. All things should be found there, audio,videos,pictures and all sort of learning things. Obvious functions are there, and the roles are important as a source of guided knowledge you wanna teach to your students. You just need to make sure that they are guided properly on what concepts are created by your learners.

Assessment in a Constructivist,Technology-Supported Learning

When you are teaching using much of Constructivist way, it is obviously much supported with technology. Evaluating in such variety of ways specially in your possessing ways to deliver the knowledge and guidance with them. They have created their own concept that will deliver much answers to you. You will need to be actively creative to use and utilize much of the technology. As it was defined,the knower is the creator of concept.They are always seeking for solutions, the new technologies can support the Constructivist learning very well. For example, the devices that shows students, television, you will try to let the students to create or be creative in their ideas. You can expect as a teacher that not all your students will probably get the ideas what you want to show to them. Assess them in a way where you will understand not exactly but more closely to the ideas. We got to know the purposes of the constructivism, that it is not transmitted but created, that the prior knowledge and experience can impact more then transmitted, you should not think globally but locally, and all this things requires a lot of effort and activities that has a lot of purpose. All this things are considered in assessment.

Using the Project based Learning Multimedia as a Teaching-Learning Strategy

In teaching using based Learning Multimedia as a teaching learning strategy, the constructivism is much emphasized than any forms of learning ways. In this way, guiding the students of what they will create and learn from what you will instruct. This way they can create or formulate some problems and will try to create their own creative ways to solve it. In the best way of teaching, letting the students to formulate their problems and solutions can provide a lot of sub-solutions and they will have the learning or sequencing of the gained idea. This is a student-centered way of teaching. Students can work and create ideas freely, they will learn a lot and will try to engage students to complex. They can create products from real world experiences. They will learn to sequence sources from their own concept,primarily ideas from first hand experience.

Project-based Learning and Multimedia : What it is?

Learning should be an projected base in enhancing animations so that the student will be engage in learning. It is needed, the absorption of every lesson that they will have to learn while you are giving them a task. You have to be better in using so that they will have quality in just short period of time. You will need to make them enjoy learning in your approach. The multimedia is also one of the biggest leap of technology, because here you will get different types of means, because this can give you the vision, the audio learning. Presenting them to the students in different way of dimensions. In this you will have to understand what activity you can engage the student in the learning task.

Maximizing the use of Overhead Projector and the Chalkboard

Despite the advancement of technology, we still have to consider the use of chalkboard. We can never assure the availability of high technology in remote places. All throughout educating the students, the absence of high technology is not an excuse in giving a quality education. In old fashion teaching, you just have to be good in utilizing the available materials. In this lesson, techniques are discussed to utilize the use of chalk. We have to come up with alternative ways to deliver the lesson. The chalkboard techniques are very helpful. There are a lot of options where we can choose the appropriate techniques for the lesson. There is a better option that fits with the existence of technology, the overhead projector. In this lesson, you will learn how to be an expert in making the most out of the overhead projector.

Teaching with Visual Symbols

Teaching with visual symbols is important in the classroom, after you deliver a class with a real world experience we have to follow this time with visual symbols. The different kinds of visual symbols can be used in different purposes to demonstrate or to organize your discussion through symbols. Obviously, graphs are easier to understand than word discussion. Your discussion should possess concrete visual aids using the symbols. In cartoons, it is used to interpret what you want to impart to your students or to the class. The strip drawings are used to entertain and at the same time, using dialogs and drawings can ask an insight from your class in similar experiences they had. On the other hand, the diagram is used to set up illustrations to your class to display statistics that is significant in your discussion. Lastly, maps show the charted places and locations in the world. There are specifications and kinds of visual symbols that are suitable to what you want to discuss. Everything still depends on the topic and the kind of visual symbols that you will use.
